I have worked with Lou and Anita Schafer since August of 2003. During this time, I’ve come to appreciate the talents, abilities and experience they bring to the table. Their efforts clearly show the ability to motivate and work with others, plan, organize and execute the tasks necessary to meet the demands of school administrators.
I have found Lou Schafer to be extremely competent and a knowledgeable professional who possesses an appreciation of the scope of educational needs in our district. He was able to make sound judgments on locating appropriate sources of funding to address identified needs. Lou works effectively with a wide range of school and community representatives in helping to turn grants into meaningful programs.
Due to Lou Schafer’s grant writing efforts, the school technology lab went from 10+ year old castoffs from the high school to a state-of-the-art graphic design computer lab.
